I'm a mixed media painter and paper collage artist with an affinity for circles, floral abstracts, mark-making, paints and ephemera papers of all kinds (save that junk mail!)
I'm a lover of learning new things and teaching processes to others. I read books on all topics, art included. The book I'm reading now though is 'My Morning Routine' by Benjamin Stall and Michael Zander. WOW! It's making me rethink what I eat, how I exercise, how much I sleep and what routines I keep. I'll be honest. I'm a night owl, late riser, and if I have a routine of any kind it's that I'm looking for my first cup of coffee as soon as I'm vertical. I crave quiet and creative time and do some kind of art every day.
I'm also a mother of 2 artists, wife to a sweet man who loves to cook. Fancy that?! I love to eat! Match made in heaven I'd say. We have 3 dogs, 3 cats , and 7 chickens. Can you say FRESH EGGS ALL THE TIME anyone?! My kids and I have always loved to bake so having eggs around is a blessing.
